Sybil is my first creation and first love for sure. She is very gentle, loving and curious creature. Her wooly hair reminds me of sow thistle fluff and her eyes are the colour of the cornflower. Sybil loves to look up - she is gazing slowly through roof windows into grey autumn clouds passing by, counting the seagulls. One thing she loves about living in the seaside is seagulls and how freely and elegantly they are gliding through the sky. Sybil is wondering where those grey clouds will bring her to and where her true home will be.
Sybil is 50cm/ 19,7'' tall.
Sybil is completely handcrafted using all natural high quality materials. She is one of the kind creation. Her head, torso and legs are needle felted and sculpted so it is very firm but soft. The outer fabric is high quality jersey from Netherlands. Her face is sculpted (needle felted) as well. Sybil's eyes are embroidered with cotton floss. Lips and cheeks are blushed with beeswax. Her arms are freely hanging. The doll has joint skeleton so her neck torso and legs can be moved and bend. There is no metal or sharp details used so it is safe for children. Sybil's hair is made of goat’s fibres. You can brush them, braid them and make hairdos. The hair is very soft and durable. The doll is free standing. She is collectible but may be used as a play doll as well (not for very young).
