Tabitha is a little girl with a heart as big as her blue hat. With her laced shoes and pants, she’s always ready for adventure. Tabitha brings a burst of joy wherever she goes, a tiny explorer with an infectious curiosity. Whether she’s tying her shoes or donning her favorite blue hat, Tabitha is a reminder that even the littlest details can add so much charm to our everyday adventures.
Tabitha is a free-standing doll, with proportions resembling a six year old child. Her legs and arms can bend, and she can sit beautifully. The neck can turn side to side, as well as up and down. The entire body is needle-felted from wool, with no stuffed parts. I sculpted the face myself from special clay. The whole doll is covered with fabric made specifically for dollmaking. Her eyes are painted with textile paints, and her cheeks are softly blushed with beeswax crayons. She has natural mohair hair, which should be handled gently. I sew all her outfits using my own original patterns, and I also make the shoes from natural leather. She stands approximately 45-46 cm (17.3 inches) tall and is intended for ages 12+ or adult doll collectors.
