Little Scarlett's curly hair, reminiscent of a Tiziano painting, framed her shy, childishly sweet smile dotted with a few freckles. In her presence, joy and innocence colored the world in vibrant hues, capturing the hearts of everyone around her. Pippa's energetic personality, set against Scarlett's calmness, was simply fascinating. I see my dolls as a proud mother would, cherishing each one's unique qualities, just like children.
These are free-standing dolls, with proportions resembling a six year old child. Their legs and arms can bend, and they can sit beautifully. The neck can turn sideways, as well as up and down. The entire body is made of wool felt, there are no stuffed parts. I sculpt each face myself from special clay. The whole doll is covered with fabric designed specifically for dollmaking. The eyes are painted with textile paint, and the cheeks are blushed with beeswax crayons. The dolls have natural mohair hair and should be handled gently. I sew each outfit using my own unique patterns and make the shoes from natural leather as well. All three girls from the Autumn series are approximately 45-46 cm (17.3 inches) tall and are intended for ages 12+ or adult doll collectors.
