Apple - Rose is a third doll in my Little Sailors collection. She is a very special girl. She is the kind of girl that leaves you with a smile on your face and kind thought in your head. She has a big and kind heart and a dozen of freckles on her nose that you can hardly see. And, of course, a dimple on her chin - every sweet child of mine must have one.
The little one has linen undergarments, denim dress with white accents and dark wine red ribbon. The sailor collar is separate from a dress, so that she could wear it in different ways. I was thinking about marine style during interwar period while creating this outfit. The lovely polka dot shoes are made of tea stained fabric to give it that old-fashioned look. Just before we left for a walk on the beach, her last minute request was a sun hat - I made it double sided, so that she could wear it in two colours - there can never be too much stripes (giggle).
Apple - Rose is a free standing doll. She is 50 cm (19,7'') tall with shoes. She comes with clothes in photos (you can always purchase additional outfits in my shop and contact me to discuss them if you wish).
She can tilt her head up and down, also move it to the sides. Her legs can bend on the knees, she can sit nicely. Apple - Rose's head, torso and legs are needle felted, only her arms are free hanging and really firmly stuffed. The outer fabric is high quality jersey from Netherlands. Apple - Rose has honey blond hair that I cut into the hairstyle - I think her bangs look really cute! It needs to be handled gently. Her eyes are embroidered with cotton floss. Lips and cheeks are blushed with beeswax. Apple - Rose is collectible.
